David de Gea’s move to Real Madrid is completed according to IkerCasillas

It has been for quite some time now that Real Madrid has been searching around the transfer market for a player who can follow the legacy and replace the 34 year old goal-keeper IkerCasillas.

For the past few weeks rumors have been linking Manchester United’s David de Gea with a move to Real Madrid. David de Gea is 24 years old but he is already being considered to be one of the best players in the world in his position.

David de Gea has been one of the few players of Manchester United who has managed to stand out and still play at a very high level despite the recent struggle that the Premier League club has experienced and it seems hard to believe that Manchester United would be even interested in selling one of their starlets but according to IkerCasillas, the deal has already been completed.

When IkerCasillas was asked about the goalkeeping situation involving David de Gea, the experienced player replied by saying that he is delighted to have competition and that he will be competing with his younger counterpart as if Real Madrid has already signed David de Gea from Manchester United.

“I’m delighted with the competition. My contract does not say you have to start. De Gea is a really nice boy and a goalkeeper for the present and future. He’ll be well received and helped. We’ll compete. He can handle the pressure and will be served from his experience at United.”IkerCasillas said.

No official confirmation has been released as there are only rumors going on saying that Real Madrid is still attempting to sign David de Gea but there is no denying the fact that the Spanish club is really interested in securing the services of Manchester United’s star and they will do everything and anything in their power in order to lure him into the Santiago Bernabeu as he is one of the most promising young talents in the world of football.
