Real Madrid star Gareth Bale is set to make his return to action in the game against Espanyol in the La Liga on Saturday.

The Welshman has been on the sidelines after he picked up ankle tendon damage in the champions League game against Sporting Lisbon last November.
The club manager Zinedine Zidane said he hoped the player would return before their clash with Napoli in the second leg of the Champions League Round of 16. Real won the game but would now have him available for the return leg on March 7.
The 27-year old former Tottenham Hotspur player has returned to full training and he is now preparing for the clash with Espanyol.
“He will be in the squad and the plan is for him to have some minutes. We’re keen and he’s keen as well. Bale is a very important player for us. We know the quality and speed that he has, and the damage he can cause the opposition. He’s very happy to return to the team, to be with us, and be able to play again,” Zidane said ahead of the clash. Read more
